Biofuel = More Deadly Than A Nuke!
I had so many different titles for this article but none were sufficient to capture its importance
A new analysis of UN statistics shows clearly that alternative fuel (biofuel) policies of the USA and the EU are going to result directly and indirectly to the premature and unnecessary deaths of millions upon millions of people, with around ten to twenty million dieing in 2008 alone. We really won’t know the final death tally for years to come from the Great Biofuel Famine. This is urgent, folks, and largely under the radar!
The major cause of death will be weakened immune systems from insufficient nutrition. When I say that some of these people will die indirectly due to biofuel depleting food resources that is what I mean. They are STILL being starved to death. But many others will simply, literally be starved to death.
Even Bilderberg member and supporter of the New World Order, Bill Clinton spoke the truth when he stated that “what’s realy hurting the food market is America moving into ethanol”. He said this at a recent summit on “Progressive Governance”
in England.
Biofuels are a dead end technology that can only lead to more death and destruction of people, property and the atmosphere no matter what biofuel crops we grow. In 2006 corn was on the market at only $2/bushel, now due to the increase in demand for corn for biofuel production the price has tripled which raises the price of chicken, eggs, beef, and dairy products, as corn is our main animal feed. Last year, America’s farms sold enough corn, soy and rapeseed for use as biofuel that could have fed 250 million people for an entire year with sufficient caloric intake for them to survive. The World Bank states that staple food prices have increased by an incredible 80% in the 3 year period from 2005 to 2008 and there is already a threat of political instability in thirty three countries as a result of this unprecedented change. There have been food riots in at least 20 different countries, even in wealthy Italy. In Haiti, some of the poor have resorted to eating cookies made of mud! The food riots in Haiti have looked more like revolution than just demand for food.
Biofuel is a bad idea that sounds like a good idea and there is no way to make it match up with the realities of the real world so it becomes something positive for either the environment or the economy. Many independent studies from agencies, universities, etc show that ethanol from cellulose (switchgrass, wood chips, crops waste, etc.) will never be cost effective. Some companies, including major oil corporations, have sought to extract biodiesel from algae but they have been trying unsuccessfully with a great waster of money and time and effort for over thirty years now. In addition to the effects on the world food supply, using corn as a source for ethanol takes so much use of other energy sources that it is not even 1/5th as efficient as fossil fuel and instead it is a killer of people and a hazard to the environment.
Scores of scientific studies from respected authorities have demonstrated that results from biofuel generation include torture of wildlife, destruction of the biosphere and faster global warming.
The evidence is so overwhelmingly and severely against biofuel and its horrendous ramifications that no person of good will would ever support it.
While all of this goes on there are real solutions coming forward but these are all at the grassroots level. Water4Gas is one of the best.
