Thank God For High Speed Internet

Here I am again, punching away at my computer. I tell ya, I can't imagine where I'd be without this dream machine. If you're anything like me, you depend on your computer and high speed Internet service everyday for a number of routine chores and communication with others.

The age of the internet is well and truly here. They are an integral part of all our lives. And it hasn't taken long for it to happen. It was only a few years back that we still searched the web using a dial up service. God! I hated dial up.

By now everyone has heard the noise. That irksome, screechy connection noise that occurs when you tap into the Internet via a phone line. I personally despise that darn sound. And it's not just because the noise itself is atrocious and hard on the ears. It's the negative memories that go along with it. Yeah, I had dial-up connection before high speed Internet service became available. And just like many others, I hated it.

Being slow wasn't all. You could get disconnected at anytime. This doesn't happen with cable high speed internet, thankfully. With cable you are always connected.

I would lose the connection every time someone in my house used the telephone, or when to many customers were using the service.

I was using very popular dial up internet service, it would seem. I frequently get thrown out in the middle of and internet chat, or writhing and important email. It drove me nuts!

These days there's no more reason to fret. Millions of us enjoy wireless high speed Internet service with our little laptops in-hand. It's hard to imagine that it can get any better than this, but I'm sure it will. It always does.

High speed internet just keeps getting faster and more available. I love it. Bye bye screeching, hello internet!
