Running A Mac Based Small Business

In choosing what computer platform to run your company on you should look at several factors to help you decide. Important decision are what is your comfort level with computers and are there any specific systems that you will need to interact with to make your company run.

There are three main choices but only two are workable for most people. Running Windows and Mac. The linux option is not really workable for most users that do not have an extensive technical background or interest.

Windows is compatible with the greatest range of systems and software but is home to more evil software then the Mac. In my opinion Windows is also harder to use and maintain. There are complexities but they re not that bad and can be over come by most people. The core advantage is that the systems are cheaper.

On mac the systems may be more expensive but they are easier to maintain giving you more time to run your business and forcing you to spend less time managing your small network. This is very important for a small businesses.

The decision is really about comfort and productivity and that is a decision that only you can make.
