Kenny Chesney... a true beach bum, a man after my own heart! The first time I saw him in concert was at the Dale Earnhardt Tribute concert in Daytona Beach, Florida back in 2003. Ever since then I have been in love. He loves the beach, loves a good time, has high expectations and goals, never gives up, and works extremely hard. I could not have described myself better. If you have ever been to one of his shows you know how addictive they are. Once you go once, you are waiting in line when the tickets go on sale the next year. I have driven all over the state of Florida to his shows. I would be willing to pay the cost to fly to an exotic caribbean island to see his show. He is so full of energy. What I love a lot about Kenny Chesney is that he seems so thankful to his fans. Without fans to buy your records and come see your shows you are a broke singer with a dream. It seems as though being rich and famous hasn't changed him to an ungrateful person like it has for other stars. Kenny is the only singer that I know of that has a true passion for the beach and the beach way of life like I do. I am all things beach. My house is decorated like it, my username on every website is ilovethebeach, I vacation to the beach, I dream about living on the beach one day, and if you love the beach you are probably not an up-tight stuck-up snob. Beach lovers are laid back, care free, not afraid to get sand between your toes, and take in the great beauty that God has given us. I could listen to the sounds of the ocean crash forever. We have been lucky enough to have small glimpses of Kenny's beach house in the caribbean. I can only dream of living in such a beautiful place. I would take a small shack on the beach. As long as I have a view and few small essentials, that is all that I need. Who needs a big house when you constantly have beauty of the ocean pulling your eyes outside? Nothing is more beautiful than that. Kenny Chesney is wrapping up his Flip Flop Summer Tour of 2007. If you get a chance to go to a show next year, put it on your calendar. It is worth far more than the price of admission. It is priceless!!
