So knowing that my Austin Craigslist listing is most probably to be sited as a search result, I need to make sure all listing copy is written in a keyword-rich manner. For example, let's say I have a listing in Travis Heights off South Congress (soco) in South Austin for trade. Can it be stated that the subsequent is a fine ad copy?: Charming older cottage minutes from downtown and close to everything. Restaurants, local stores, pool, and area park are a walking distance away. Do you notice that the sample sentence is short with important keywords? How would a searcher who likes a property in Travis Heights find my listing when there is no mention of the area? They wouldn't. We've said importantly the same thing as the first example, but in a keyword-rich manner that is more probably to effect in the listing being seen by someone searching for a property in Travis Heights or near South Congress (soco). This step can be enhanced some more by factoring in derivative keywords. I have a currently posted Craigslist Western Oaks rental listing. I lead off the ad with: Great property, finely updated in a excellent South Austin location in Western Oaks, close to Legend Oaks and Circle C. Why am I mentioning "close to Legend Oaks and Circle C"? it is for the reason that those searching for Circle C or legend Oaks properties may also discover the Western Oaks home attracting. I want to capture as many attracted prospects with the ad as possible. Also, since excellent schools are a motivating quality for many in the SW Austin location, it's important to mention all schools by name in case someone is searching specifically for a property that attends definite schools. So printing a Craigslist ad isn't that different from printing website copy. You should ask what are the search phrases and keywords suitable to use in order to appear as results on most people's browses. Then make sure those keywords are included in what you print.
