But you'll be wise to be alert for shorted spark plugs. A misfiring spark plug can impede a vehicle's gasoline performance by as much as thirty percent.

Make sureyour air filter is clean. Check it regularly. When the automobile’s engine gets clogged with dirt, dirt and insects, it causes your system to exert more effort and your vehicle becomes less gas efficient. Replacing a air filter that is clogged could lower gasoline usage by as much as 10%. It makes sense to ensure you have your system’s air filter inspected at each oil change.

Who's right? Who's wrong? Who vehiclees? Does it lower gasoline consumption? No, probably not!

The best genuine solution to lower your gasoline consumption, with gas prices in the $3-4.50 range up and down over the last year or so is to sever your umbilical cord... the one that chains you to the gas pump and drop your chains of slavery to the oil companies and....

Convert to a hydrogen engine!
What if you never had to pump another gallon of gasoline again?
Convert your gasoline engine to hydrogen.
If you do a partial (hybrid) conversion then you can expect reduced gasoline consumption of up to 30% maybe more.
If you do this and also add acetone to your gas tank (which will save you another 25% or so) then you will have reduced your gasoline consumption by a combined 50%! Put in about 2-3 ounces of acetone per 10 gallons of gasoline and the gasoline will evaporate less easily and you lower your gasoline consumption by 25% or more.
If you do a full gas to hydrogen conversion then you will never have to buy another gallon of gasoline for the rest of your life. It is a piece of cake to do, costs next to nothing, doesn't pollute the environment and you will have the pleasure of knowing that you are conserving resources instead of using up more than your fair share.
