The question is whether the online degree will be seen as valid by the financial institution that a student hopes to work for once he or she has obtained their degree in finance.

Do your research before you sign up for an online finance degree program by finding out whether the financial institution will accept an online degree as proof that you know what you are doing. Most of them do today.
