Clubbing In Ibiza, Space

The Space Terrace is a famous place to spend your Sunday afternoons on the island. Space is in Playa den Bossa it's open six days a week, [closed mondays] between May and early October.

Space first opened in 1989, it used to be a conference hall. When it started providing entertainment it wasn't a dance club but instead it put on live bands and Flamenco shows.In 1991 Alex P, who was working at the club, came up with the idea to put a set of decks behind the bar outside and play to the people enjoying a quiet drink on the chill-out terrace. Two years he was joined by Brandon Block and the Space Terrace was born!

Every top DJ in the world has now played Space. It's a world class clubbing venue.

'We Love Sundays' is Space's flagship night, beginning at 8am and going right on through until 6am Monday morning. In that time you can hear some of the best House and Progressive DJs each and every Sunday throughout the summer.

There's room for about 5k guests in the club.

The music you can heat at Space is predominantly House.

You need to take with you quite a lot of cash. It's about 65 to get in with a flyer and drinks are expensive.

Even if you are not really into clubbing Space is well worth a visit just for the amazing continental atmosphere.
