One year ago the average cost of a gallon of gas was $2.16. Today it is $3.07 considering all 50 states. In 2004 the cost of one single barrel of oil was $50 and people were outraged. In 2007 the cost of a barrel of oil is $100 and people have sunk into apathy. Of course, the rapid decline in value of the dollar also plays a part. It can be said that while the cost of gas has gone up, the dollar going down has also made the cost of gas appear to go up faster than it actually has. Overall, it is a severe situation for the US economy and gas prices. If you are not quite ready to give up and still want to maximize your fuel efficiency and keep as much money as possibly in your bank account and out of the greedy, greasy fingers of oil company executives then there are things that you can do. The first thing to do is to consider, if you are someone who is able to relocate is relocating where your cost of living, including gas prices will be lower. The cities which currently have the lowest gas prices (around $2.70 to $2.80) are St Louis, El Paso, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Louisville, Wichita, Des Moines, Kansas City, Colorado Springs and Denver. The states which have the lowest gas prices currently are Missouri, Wyoming, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Kansas, Indiana, Colorado, Tennessee, New Jersey and Minnesota. There is also a website which lists out exactly what the local gas stations in your neighborhood are charging per gallon right this very minute. If you email me using the email address below I will give you the website address of this free resource. FREE AT LAST! Want to set yourself free at last from the concern about gas prices? Want to tell the big oil companies where to go? Don’t we all? Well some have done so and you can too. It is just a matter of converting your gas based engine to a full water/hydrogen based system! It costs next to nothing to do. It is very safe and easy. And it has other benefits too in that it will make your car run cheaper, better, cooler and happier. And it is much better for the environment. You can do a full conversion or even just a partial switch over. If you convert to a hybrid gas with water/hydrogen system then you can reduce your gas consumption by 1/3 as many others have done. Converting to water/hydrogen fully or partially from a gas burning system is the optimum solution for all of us.
