Gain extra surface space with an Island Space in the kitchen is at a premium, both countertop space and cupboard space is very important. Many people are deciding to add an island into their kitchen to add more storage and surface space. You could remove a wall and open up the space in the kitchen. A lot of kitchen renovation projects include adding an island into the middle of the floor which can provide extra cabinet and counter space. You can purchase a separate stove top, this doesn’t have to be fixed to the top of your cooker. You could install the stove top onto the new island section, rather than having it fitted to existing counter space. The additional counter space on this island can be used as counter space, stools can be added in order to provide additional seating. You can then install the rest of the cooker against another wall in the main work surface. The island can also include extra cabinet space underneath the island. This extra storage space would be very useful for storing extra cleaning equipment, or pots and pans. A kitchen island can be a wonderful addition to a family kitchen.
