Coca-Cola Art Remix “Coca-Cola Art” is a blog by RockAndRoll Agency about Coca-Cola ads & art, brand news, Coke collectibles for Coca-Cola lovers & collectors. The “Coke Art” blog explores Coca-Cola’s vintage ads, American culture, Coca-Cola pop art by artists such as Andy Warhol and Peter Blake plus the current “Coke Side of Life” campaign, graphic design & visual communication: Coca-Cola can and bottle designs, limited editions, point of sale materials, billboards, wall paintings, posters and flyers, copywriting, cinema and television commercials, web design, magazines ads, … Since its early days, Coca-Cola has played an eminent role in the visual culture of several generations. By continually challenging artists and agencies to create images for its wide range of communication, Coca-Cola also functioned as a catalyst for creative expressions, right ideas at the right time… The original Coca-Cola illustrations were drawn by masters as Haddon Sundblom or Gil Elvgren with their loving, magical touch. Some of the early Coke images are playful, romantic, cartoony, imaginative; others are trendy and stylized but they are always signs of their times. The concept of the Coca-Cola Art Remix project is simple. Every selected artist makes a “Coke Side of Life” Remix of historic Coca-Cola visuals and creates a new visual inspired by the brand and its soul, a thematic interpretation. For the Coke Side of Life Remix Art Gallery, RockAndRoll Agency creatively managed 15 artists/agencies/collectives from around the world: 013a, Romania, Europe * Adhemas, Brazil, South America * Büro Destruct, Swiss, Europe * CaosCC, Spain, Europe * Creative XL, India, Asia * DJ Spinbalon, Venezuale, South America * Extraverage / Drezign, Hungary, Europe * Fung Wee Lim, Canada, North America * Idokungfoo, Japan, Asia * Imny, USA, North America * Pixecute, Indonesia, Asia * Rex, South Africa, Africa * Serge Mienandi, Senegal, Africa * The Designers Republic, UK, Europe * Vault 49, USA, North America.
